1. Scope
This policy applies to personal information handled through AdmiralRow.com and related customer service, order, marketing, review, and fulfillment activities. It does not govern a third party’s independent website, service, or privacy practices, even when we link to that third party.
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to operate the commerce platform and may use information under its own terms. You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and may include:
- Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, account credentials, and communication preferences.
- Order and transaction information: products viewed or purchased, cart activity, discounts, order history, returns or exchanges, delivery details, and transaction records.
- Payment information: payment method and limited transaction details. Payment providers process complete card or account credentials; Admiral Row does not receive your complete payment-card number.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring links, interactions, and cookie or pixel identifiers.
- Communications and content: messages to customer service, survey responses, reviews, photos or other content you choose to submit, and records of our communications with you.
- Marketing information: email or SMS subscription status, consent records, campaign interactions, and advertising or audience information where permitted.
- Fraud and security information: signals used to authenticate activity, prevent abuse, protect transactions, and comply with law.
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from service providers or partners that support our store, payments, fulfillment, fraud prevention, analytics, marketing, reviews, returns, and customer service.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- operate the website, maintain your account, and provide requested products or services;
- process payments, fulfill and deliver orders, provide tracking, and handle exchanges, returns, or order issues;
- respond to questions and provide customer support;
- personalize and improve our store, product selection, marketing, and customer experience;
- measure site performance and understand how customers interact with our services;
- send transactional messages and, when you have opted in or the law otherwise permits, marketing communications;
- detect fraud, protect our customers and systems, enforce our terms, and prevent prohibited activity;
- comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and complete a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale.
6. Email and SMS communications
If you subscribe to marketing email, you can unsubscribe through the link in any marketing message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order, account, or service communications.
If you affirmatively opt in to SMS, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts or HELP for help. Additional program terms may be shown at the point of signup or on our SMS terms page.
7. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to withdraw consent; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a right provided by applicable law.
To submit a request, email contact@admiralrow.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification.
8. Retention, security, and international processing
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, maintain transaction and consent records, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by information type and legal requirement.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Shopify and other providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live, and providers use legal and contractual safeguards where required.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice when required.
