The right care begins with the material and finish of your piece.
Review the individual product page before cleaning. Materials, plating, stones and components can vary—even within the same style.
Apply lotions, perfume and hair products before adding jewelry.
Remove pieces before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep.
After wear, wipe the piece with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Keep pieces dry and separated to reduce tangling and scratches.

Allow skincare, fragrance and hair products to dry before putting on jewelry. Add your jewelry after dressing to limit friction and snags.
Wipe the piece gently and make sure it is dry before storing it. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds and rough cloths unless the product page expressly recommends them.
Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, hot tubs, exercise, household cleaning and other prolonged exposure to moisture or chemicals unless the product page expressly states otherwise.
Store pieces in a dry pouch or lined compartment. Separate chains, plated surfaces, pearls and stones so they do not rub, tangle or scratch one another.

Gold-filled jewelry uses a mechanically bonded layer of gold over a base metal. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and limit exposure to moisture, sweat, cosmetics and chemicals. Check the product page for the specifications of the individual piece.

Gold vermeil is gold plating over sterling silver. Treat it as a plated finish: keep it dry, avoid friction and chemicals, wipe it gently after wear and store it separately.

Plated jewelry has a surface finish over another disclosed base metal. Moisture, chemicals and repeated friction can affect that finish. Avoid polish and abrasive cleaning; use a soft, dry cloth instead.

These pieces may be unplated or finished with another metal, so use the product page as your guide. Keep the piece dry, wipe it gently and do not apply silver polish to a plated surface.

Avoid chemicals, perfume, prolonged moisture and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe pearls and natural stones gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store them separately to reduce scratching.

Vintage materials, finishes and previous repairs may be unknown. Do not soak, polish or place a vintage piece in an ultrasonic cleaner. Use a soft, dry cloth and contact us before attempting deeper cleaning.
